When do we utilize the TCM Campaign?
For sports enthusiasts, you don’t always run your best play in football or basketball, you don’t always throw your best pitch as a pitcher in softball or baseball.
Well, in recruiting, we don’t always run our best recruiting campaign unless the timing and experience is right for a given scenario. Our best play at TA-Light Recruiting & Consulting is our “Top Candidate Marketing Campaign” but not every candidate fits the description of a “Top Candidate” nor does every job opening require this level of execution.
If you think you might be in the “Top Candidate” territory, please take a look at these scenarios. If you see yourself in one of these scenarios, let’s set up a time to discuss your career. If you don’t see yourself in one of these scenarios, still set up a time to have a conversation about your career and about positioning yourself to take control of your career path.
There are many scenarios when utilizing this service makes sense:
If you’re relocating you can tap into our knowledge and relationships of the market you’re heading to and take some of the guesswork out of who has a good or bad name in the industry.
You have a good job today, one that you’re willing to leave but only if it’s for that “perfect fit” position. You are generally speaking, OK with where you’re at, but would make a move if X criteria are met. I.e. Maybe you want to do exactly what you’re doing today, get paid the same amount, but not spend two hours of your day in the car commuting to and from work.
You have no further room for advancement at your current employer, generally speaking you like your job but wish there were opportunities to move up at some point.
Your work is starting to bore you—you need a new challenge as you’ve mastered your current position and often do it without having to think.
You are more than 10% below industry average for pay, you’ve asked for a raise and been told no; or told yes months ago with no change in compensation to date.
You’re not a culture fit with your current employer.
You’ve had a pretty steady run, but your employer hasn’t been landing work for the future and you’re concerned about the stability of your role long term.
